Online Classes / Virtual Trainings Prospectus

For the purpose of administering quality and effective Online Classes / Virtual Trainings, Greenland Foundations is committed to upholding the processes as described in this prospectus. It is therefore very necessary and important that students / participants accustom themselves with these steps, modes, rules and regulations.

All classes are online via zoom and they are live classes which include live interaction between instructors and students. There is also a Re-live feature for all classes which allows students to replay the class sessions. All recordings for all classes will remain available throughout the course of the classes/trainings.

Classes will be held on Fridays and Saturdays within the hours shown below:

* Tuesdays: 4 Hours

*Thursdays: 4 Hours

Syllabus

Syllabus for each course will be made available along with the Registration Package upon request via email. The syllabus will contain detailed information about the class/training, time, duration and curriculum.

Registration Process

  1. Registering for classes must be done accordingly to ensure a smooth registration process. For all our online / virtual classes, it is expected of all Enrollee are expected to sign the concent/Agreement section of the Registration form.

Turn-in Registration Package with a Non-Refundable Registration Fee of $250.00 which is due at the time of turning in the Registration Package for this process to be completed.

Receive Acknowledgment / Acceptance Letter via email from Greenland Foundations.

Attend the Orientation session on the scheduled date. Since this a recorded virtual class / training, participants who are unable to attend the orientation session must watch the recorded session to achieve this requirement.

Install required soft-wares – Greenland Foundations is not responsible for software installation but will assist under the guideline of our software installation policy as explained below.

Make full payment or installment payments as stated in the payment process.

Payment Process

The payment of class fees must be completed before the commencement of class. Installment payment is allowed but must be completed before the 3rd week of class. Payment can be made in three installments but 75% of payment must be made on or before the first week of class. Failure to complete the last installment on the deadline will result to automatic removal from the class without any refund.

Installment Payment Process

3 installment payments can be paid as shown below:

*1st Installment 35% Due on the first day of class

*2nd Installment 30% Due on the 2rd week of class

*3rd Installment 35% Due on the 3rd week of class

Failure to meet the payment requirements (full or installment) will amount to automatic withdrawal from the class and the withdrawal / dropping class process will be applied where necessary.

Withdrawal / Dropping Class

Withdrawing from a class after the first day of class comes with certain consequences. Refunds of class fees are subject to penalty as broken below:

*1st Week of Class – 25% Deduction from Class Fee

*2nd Week of Class – 50% Deduction from Class Fee

*3rd Week of Class – 75% Deduction from Class Fee

*4th Week and Above – No Refunds

Please note that penalty for withdrawal / dropping class has nothing to do with class attendance. This means that the penalty will apply regardless of whether a student attends the class or not. Greenland Foundations has made provision to accommodate students into the classes or trainings and failure to attend class is not our responsibility.

Attendance

Classes will commence and end at the schedule time. It is therefore very important that students join the class before start time. Please note that any student that joins after class has started will not be given any special treatment while class is on. This means that questions that will draw the class backward will not be entertained. Such student will be advised to watch the Re-Live Recording of the class when it becomes available.

Class Expectation

While class is on, it is expected of all students to follow all the following guidelines:

1. Video Cam must be turned on and on mute while class is on.

2. Maintain a quiet environment when asking questions or responding to questions.

3. Not to respond to any question been asked by other students (It is the instructor’s job)

4. Follow all other instructions as given by the instructor(s)

Exception can be made based on individual needs but such must be sorted out prior to the commencement of class. Also, violations of any or all of these instructions will be subjected to removal from the class and other actions can be taken if such persist in subsequent classes.

Software Installation

It is the responsibility of the students to install the required software(s) on their computer systems. However, Greenland Foundations will make these soft-wares available to students whose systems meet the required specifications. Please note that Greenland Foundations is not responsible for any malfunction of either these soft-wares or other soft-wares and applications on students’ computers or systems. To be eligible for software installation, participants must have made at least their 1st installment payment of 35%.
